KULCHA Multicultural Arts of Western Australia was established in 1983 as the Ethnic Music Centre and is today the state’s peak presenter of multicultural arts.
KULCHA presents, promotes and develops the arts through support to artists, making a significant contribution to the cultural vibrancy of Western Australia. KULCHA runs Australia’s leading world arts venue on South Terrace, Fremantle, with over 150 events per annum presented in free and ticketed events.
KULCHA’s program currently includes the Freeform music networking nights and, along with RTRFM, the Club Soundtrack music and film events, presenting new and unseen music documentaries. KULCHA’s week-to-week program can include anything from Senegalese drumming and Gypsy folk singing to experimental electronica and Serbian noise-rock. The KULCHA venue also doubles as a gallery space, with a diverse program of local and international acts exhibiting throughout the year. The venue has also acted as a micro-cinema, presenting the 2009 Mexican Film Fiesta and the 2008 and 2009 Iranian Short Film Festivals.

Alliance Française de Perth
The Alliance Francaise is a French organization which exists in over 1,100 cities worldwide. Its main mission is to teach French.
The Alliance Francaise opened its doors to the Perth community in 1911 and we are proud to have over 1,000 people attending our classes each year.
The Alliance Francaise de Perth is a non-profit Australian organization founded in 1911.
Run by a locally elected committee, its aim is to foster bonds and a better understanding between France and Western Australia by spreading the knowledge of the French language and culture and by promoting linguistic and cultural exchanges.
The Alliance Française de Perth organizes French language classes at all levels for adults and children and cultural events such as the yearly Alliance Française French Film Festival, conferences, exhibitions and concerts. It has partnership with the most important cultural institutions in the city: PIAF, WASO, WA Opera, PICA etc. It also has a media library with books, videos, DVDs and CDs which can be borrowed free of charge
The Alliance Française also organizes social evenings which are a great success: Quiz night, Beaujolais Nouveau evening etc.
The committee has 18 members. The president is Mrs. Diana Warnock. There are 2 vice presidents, 2 honorary vice presidents, one secretary and one director.
